Happy birthday to me...

It's my birthday month. I went to OBX, NC for a few days earlier this month. I completely (well almost) unplugged during my vacation. I didn't write. I worked on some edits I needed to do for about 30 minutes. Woo hoo'd with my agent and editor about an audio sale. And read a contract for my new series.

For me? That's totally ignoring my work. LOL

What did I do instead? Spent time with my family that lives in the NC area. Spent time with my husband and the dogs - socializing them. Training them. The dogs, not my husband. Walked on the beach. A lot. Ate seafood. A lot. Read one book. (I took ten books, but I actually finished one and started two.)

That was it. I came home rested but still, going back to work made me deeply tired. Until Wednesday.

Oh, and after visiting for four years, I finally saw the wild horses of Corolla.
